Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years Stepdown RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment (actual schedule varies by assignment; weekends and nights may be required depending on unit needs)
Required Qualifications/Experience:
Active RN license (state or compact) Minimum of one year experience in a Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) preferred BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Adaptability, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care for patients stepping down from intensive care Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes, and intervene as necessary Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care Educate patients and families regarding care plans and recovery expectations Accurately document interventions, progress, and outcomes
