1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Critical Access Hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and prior travel nursing experience. Details Critical Access Hospital Labor & Delivery unit Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:00) Every third weekend required Patient population includes high-risk pregnancies, vaginal deliveries, C-sections, neonatal and newborn care, and postpartum care Procedures include forceps/vacuum-assisted delivery, cervical cerclage, pain management, and neonatal care Skills required include sterile speculum exams, NSTs, reflex checks, sterile vaginal exams, external fetal monitoring (EFM), IV placement, and medication administration

EMR:

Centricity (preferred, not required) Block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis Requirements Active RN license in KS or a compact state — must be in hand at time of consideration (no pending licenses) Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required Previous charge nurse experience preferred Prior travel nursing experience required — first-time travelers will not be considered Two professional references required for consideration Copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration Additional Information Role requires the ability to jump in independently from the start of the night shift with minimal ramp-up time Local candidates are welcome to apply No radius restriction for this position
