1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Elizabethtown, KY, requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications with weekend and holiday rotation. Details Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department providing urgent and emergency medical care Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts per day, 10am-10pm (second shift/days) 36 hours per week Weekend and holiday rotation required 13-week contract Requirements Active, unrestricted KY or compact RN license required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, ENPC, and TNCC ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred Previous nursing experience preferred but not required MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, implementing treatments and therapies, patient and family education, and facilitating admission, transfer, and discharge activities Clinical decision-making incorporates all four phases of the nursing process, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice Active participation in unit-based quality improvement activities is expected New and first-time travelers are welcome to apply
