More about our team The labor and delivery suites at Centerpoint Health Women & Babies - Georgetown are thoughtfully designed to provide a calm, comfortable and secure environment for our patients birthing experience. Each private suite blends modern medical technology with a warm, home-like atmosphere to help you feel relaxed and supported. How you'll contribute A Registered Nurse (RN), Women's Services who excels in this role: Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities. Documents patient care provided. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts or units as needed. Maintains regular and reliable attendance. Additional requirements include:
Associate's Degree in Nursing required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
