Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Outpatient)

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $73,125 Educational Requirements Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required. Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing Certification (ANCC) preferred, but not required. Required Experience Psychiatric nursing experience required .

BSN:

Minimum 1 year psychiatric experience

ADN:

Minimum 3 years psychiatric experience Previous experience in a behavioral health setting strongly preferred. Must demonstrate proficiency using computers and electronic devices necessary for documentation and care delivery.

Certification / License

Requirements Current RN licensure (in good standing). ANCC Psychiatric Nursing Board Certification preferred, but not mandatory. Duties & Responsibilities Provide nursing services to assigned consumers in accordance with Pathways policies and procedures . Support consumers receiving medications by collaborating with and assisting prescribers . Maintain accurate and timely documentation , following established care plans. Serve individuals across the lifespan— children, youth, adults, and elderly —with physical and mental health needs . Perform all other duties as outlined in the current official job description .
