Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN) Registered Nurse (RN) Family Practice Clinic - Jackson, KY Full-Time Position 4-day work week (4 x 10 hours shifts) - schedule may be adjusted to meet the staffing needs of the clinic
Supports Family Practice Providers Job Summary:
Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care Assists physicians during examinations and procedures Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals Performs a variety of tasks A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Must have a license to practice professional nursing in the state of Kentucky Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patients, guests, physicians, and other employees
