Work Location Lexington, KY Grade Level 46 Salary Range $25.01-41.25/hour Type of Position Staff Position Time Status Full-Time Required Education ADN Click here for more information about equivalencies: https://hr.uky.edu/employment/working-uk/equivalencies Required Related Experience 2 yrs Required License/Registration/Certification Registered Nurse (RN) by time of hire Physical Requirements lift, push, and/or pull objects up to 50lbs; stand or walk with objects up to 25lbs Shift Monday - Friday (40 hrs/week) Job Summary The Markey Cancer Center, Precision Medicine Clinic, is seeking to hire a Clinical Research Nurse I . This position will be responsible for maintaining and coordinating a system for evaluation of patients for eligibility for participation in clinical trials, toxicities related to the study, planning with the attending physician and/or PI all evaluations and treatments. This position will ensure effective data flow related to human clinical studies, including patient evaluation/assessment, registration, compilation and submission of data, monitoring of study compliance and other responsibilities associated with the coordination of human clinical studies. This position is eligible for a fully on-site work arrangement .

Skills / Knowledge
/ Abilities Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Good oral/written communication skills required. Computer proficiency to minimally include use of Microsoft Office applications, email, and internet. Knowledge of scientific and clinical terminology preferred. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? No Preferred Education/Experience BSN preferred. All nurses hired after 10/1/2024 required to complete their BSN within 5 years of their hire date.
