As a travel Emergency Room RN in this dynamic city, you'll not only contribute your expertise to a bustling ER, but also immerse yourself in a community known for its rich culture, top-notch cuisine, iconic horse racing, and picturesque riverfront scenery. Louisville offers incredible opportunities to recharge and explore during your time off, making each assignment a unique adventure. This role promises professional growth through hands-on experience in a 31-bed, fast-paced emergency department averaging 78 patients daily. You'll encounter a broad spectrum of cases—ranging from cardiac events and traumas to post-transplant complications—caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds. The environment fosters clinical excellence and leadership, as you collaborate with experienced teams and adapt to diverse workplace practices, all while building invaluable skills for your resume.

1900-0700 Every third weekend required No on-call shifts Holiday rotations and flexible scheduling consideredQualifications:
Active RN license (KY or compact) Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience (any trauma level)BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS
certifications required Proficiency with IV starts, NG/foley insertion, neuro assessments, triage, codes, and critical drips Strong leadership, adaptability, and teamwork skills Cerner EMR experience preferredResponsibilities:
Assess and treat emergency patients with varied diagnoses (trauma, sepsis, cardiac, respiratory, etc.) Lead by example and act as an ER subject matter expert Perform and assist in procedures, administer sedation, and manage complex medical situations Collaborate with 24/7 charge nurse, ER physicians, hospitalists, and multi-disciplinary teamsBenefits & Perks:
