Job Description

Job Summary Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment at our Mount location. This vital role offers an energetic and impactful opportunity to deliver comprehensive, compassionate care to individuals battling addiction. You will be at the forefront of transforming lives through evidence-based interventions, medication management, and holistic support, all while working within a dynamic clinical environment. Your expertise will help empower patients on their journey to recovery, making a meaningful difference every day. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and mental health evaluations to determine treatment needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with best practices for substance use disorder recovery. Administer medications such as buprenorphine or other pharmacotherapies, ensuring proper dosing and monitoring for efficacy and safety. Provide patient education on substance use disorder, relapse prevention strategies, and available community resources. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, counselors, social workers, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care. Document all patient interactions accurately using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks, maintaining HIPAA compliance. Assist with clinical procedures including IV infusions, suturing, and sterile techniques when necessary for patient stabilization or comorbid conditions. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Registered Nurse (RN), with current certification in substance use disorder treatment preferred. Demonstrated experience in behavioral health or addiction medicine is highly desirable. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Athenahealth, Cerner, or similar platforms. Knowledge of pharmacology related to opioid use disorder and familiarity with medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Strong skills in patient assessment, critical thinking, and clinical documentation adhering to NCQA standards. Experience working in diverse settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, or detox centers is advantageous. Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment while maintaining compassionate patient care. $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
