Job Description

Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate patients with complex wounds, including pressure ulcers, surgical wounds, and diabetic ulcers. Develop and implement individualized wound care treatment plans based on best practices and evidence-based guidelines.. Perform wound care procedures such as debridement, dressing changes, and wound irrigation using sterile techniques.. Monitor and document wound healing progress, as well as any changes in patients' conditions.. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on proper wound care techniques, prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications.. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care. Maintain a compassionate and patient-centered approach, providing emotional support and comfort to patients throughout their healing journey.
Qualifications:
Active RN license, Certification in Wound Care, such as Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing (WOCN) or Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN), required. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in wound care. Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of wound care products, techniques, and treatment modalities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate and empower patients. Compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients in need.
