1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a high-volume STEMI and Primary Stroke Center in Louisville, KY, working night shifts with required ACLS and PALS certifications. Details Work in a 44-bed private-room Emergency Department treating 160+ patients daily Patient population includes medical, trauma, cardiac, stroke, and psychiatric cases Facility is a designated STEMI Center and Primary Stroke Center Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7PM-7AM Requirements Active, unrestricted KY or compact RN license required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred Ability to assess age-specific patient safety needs and implement appropriate safety measures MM/DD of date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration Additional Information Provide comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care including assessment, treatment, care coordination, and patient/family education Responsibilities include facilitating admission, transfer, and discharge activities in a fast-paced ED environment Delegate and oversee patient care tasks performed by other team members Participate in quality improvement initiatives including patient satisfaction, falls prevention, CAUTI reduction, and documentation audits BSN is preferred but not required
