Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Contract Advance your nursing career in a dynamic perioperative environment by providing expert care as an Operating Room Registered Nurse. Key Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of one year recent experience in an Operating Room setting required Familiarity with perioperative nursing standards and protocols BLS and ACLS certifications (current and up to date) Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with surgical and multidisciplinary teams Ability to maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control guidelines
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists in the OR Monitor patient status and respond swiftly to changes throughout the surgical process Ensure accurate surgical counts, proper handling of sterile supplies, and precise documentation Advocate for patients' needs, comfort, and safety at all times Participate in pre-op assessments and post-op evaluations as needed Maintain compliance with all facility and regulatory policies
