Wound Care RN - Inpatient

The Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive wound and skin care services to hospitalized patients, serving as a clinical expert in the prevention, assessment, treatment, and management of acute and chronic wounds, pressure injuries, and skin integrity issues. This position functions primarily in the inpatient hospital setting, with outpatient wound care and infusion clinic support as needed based on operational and patient care needs. The Wound Care RN collaborates with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure evidence-based wound care practices, regulatory compliance, and high-quality patient outcomes. All duties are performed in a manner that promotes patient safety, quality improvement, and a positive professional image of the department and hospital. This position primarily functions as an Inpatient Wound Care RN, with scheduled outpatient infusion responsibilities as assigned based on operational need.
