Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality patient care across various settings, including acute care hospitals, outpatient clinics, long-term care facilities, and community health environments. Your expertise will support patient recovery, comfort, and well-being through comprehensive assessments, personalized treatment plans, and meticulous medical documentation. Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform care plans. Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols, including IV infusions and medication administration. Manage complex clinical procedures such as catheterization, suturing, wound care, ostomy care, and ventilator management. Document all patient interactions meticulously using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic or Cerner while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and long-term care strategies for diverse patient populations including geriatrics, behavioral health patients, and individuals with developmental disabilities. Educate patients and families on health coaching topics such as nutrition, medication adherence, disease management (infectious disease care), and post-acute care instructions. Experience Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a sterile environment during procedures such as phlebotomy or specimen collection. Ability to work with diverse patient populations including seniors in assisted living or memory care facilities; experience with working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
