Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time per applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You'll Do Provide high-quality emergency nursing care for a diverse patient population, from infants to end-of-life age groups Manage a variety of acuity levels including MedSurg, Stepdown, ICU, and trauma cases Perform ventilator management, critical care drips/titration, and cardiac rhythm interpretation Administer medications, conduct assessments, and assist with procedures like splinting and stroke interventions Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including hospitalists and emergency physicians, to ensure optimal patient outcomes Support unit operations during shifts, taking patient assignments as needed What You Need Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible to obtain Minimum 2 years ED experience (certified in
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI/MOAB
) Strong critical care skills, including ventilator and cardiac rhythm management Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start Excellent communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This assignment is at a state-of-the-art hospital in Bossier City, offering a busy and diverse emergency department with 29 beds. The unit supports a wide range of acuity levels and patient types, including trauma, cardiac, neuro, and medical/surgical cases. The environment is traveler-friendly, with a focus on professionalism, teamwork, and excellent patient care.
