Registered Nurse - ER

Required Skills:

Minimum of 2 years of ER experience in an acute care setting Proficient in ventilator management, critical care drips, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and hemodynamic lines (Art lines/CVP) Ability to perform and interpret EKGs and measure cardiac strips Knowledge of trauma stabilization, seizure management, and stroke interventions Strong general nursing knowledge with experience across all acuity levels, including MedSurg, Stepdown, ICU, and ED Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI or MOAB Excellent critical thinking, collaboration, and communication skills Nice to

Have Skills:

Experience with TPA administration and conscious sedation Use of EMR systems such as Meditech Expanse Experience assisting with splinting and suicide risk assessments Ability to work comfortably in multispecialty environments such as cardiac, neuro, ortho, and trauma units

Preferred Education and Experience:

Valid RN license At least 2 years of recent ER or acute care nursing experience Prior travel or agency nursing experience is advantageous but not mandatory; first-time travelers must meet experience requirements

Other Requirements:

BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI or MOAB certifications required before starting Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to placement Flexibility to work 4-day or 3-day shifts, including weekend rotation and major holidays Willingness to work in a traveler-friendly environment with professionalism and adherence to hospital policies Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local parking Must wear PPE, badges, and scrubs as specified; no cell phones in patient care areas This is an exciting opportunity to grow professionally while providing top-tier emergency care.
