Registered Nurse - ER

What You Will Bring:

Minimum of 2 years of current ED experience in a hospital setting Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI or MOAB certifications Proficiency in ventilator management, critical care drips and titration, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and management of hemodynamic lines such as Art lines/CVP Experience with trauma stabilization, stroke interventions (including TPA), and general acute care procedures Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to onboarding Flexibility to work rotating weekends, major holidays, and 3-4 day shifts as scheduled Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Meditech Expanse EMR system Knowledge of various patient populations, including trauma, neuro, cardiac, and orthopedic cases Comfort with charting and equipment such as IV pumps, Pyxis medication systems, and chest tubes Ability to adapt to unit staffing and resource variations

Qualifications:

Active RN license At least 2 years of recent emergency department experience First-time travelers must have two years of permanent staff RN experience in acute care; previous staff must be separated for at least one year Willingness to work in a dynamic, traveler-friendly environment
