NICU Registered Nurse (Level III) - Night Shift (City/State) Why apply: Enjoy a Night 3x12-hour schedule with self-scheduling options and structured weekend/holiday rotation. Admit neonates to NICU and support the continuity of care. Discharge neonates and coordinate newborn workflow as assigned to the appropriate unit (NICU/NOU). Coordinate care with the patient care team (e.g., NNP, MD, RN, Social Services, RT, Radiology, OT ). Educate and update parents/caregivers and support family-centered care. Assist with advanced NICU clinical needs, including ventilator management and central line care as applicable to scope. Perform/assist with NICU procedures and diagnostic support (as applicable), such as labs/ABGs/CBG support, intubation/oxygen support, and imaging workflows. What You Need Required Active
BLS & NRP
3+ years of NICU registered nurse experience Epic experience Delivery attendance experience Preferred Strong experience caring for neonates requiring higher acuity support (e.g., ventilator/central line familiarity) Comfort with floating/being reassigned within the newborn/NICU continuum based on unit needs About the Assignment This NICU Registered Nurse position supports a high-acuity newborn program where you'll attend deliveries, manage and transition newborns into
NICU/NOU
workflows, and partner with multidisciplinary teams to provide clinical care and family updates. Weekend and holiday coverage is required per rotation.
