Join Our Team as an Operating Room Registered Nurse - Make a Difference Where It Matters Most! Are you a dedicated OR nurse ready to elevate your career in a dynamic, fast-paced trauma center? We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our compassionate team at a reputable Level II Trauma Center. This role offers the chance to work in a variety of specialized surgical procedures while providing critical perioperative care during high-stakes night shifts. Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years circulating experience in an operating room environment Strong knowledge of surgical procedures across multiple specialties including Ortho, Cardio Thoracic, ENT, GYN, Plastics, Vascular, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Trauma, Urology, Neurosurgery, and Robotic Procedures Proficiency in ACLS and BLS certifications Ability to respond to call requirements within 30 minutes Excellent assessment and coordination skills with surgical and anesthesia teams Focused on maintaining a safe, sterile environment and adhering to AORN standards Nice to
Have Skills:
Previous charge nurse experience Experience with Epic electronic health records Trauma Level II experience Adaptability to holiday call requirements and special procedures
Preferred Education and Experience:
Valid RN license in your state 2+ years of circulating OR experience, ideally in a trauma setting
Other Requirements:
Flexibility to work Fri/Sat/Sun 6:15 AM - 6:45 PM shifts Availability for call (2-3 weekdays/month and one weekend shift) with rapid response capability Hospital scrubs provided Willingness to work independently during off-hours in a community hospital trauma environment Ready to advance your nursing career in a rewarding and challenging role?
