Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Current, active RN license Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room experience CPR/BLS certification required (ACLS preferred) Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills Familiarity with modern OR equipment and safety protocols Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to surgical patients throughout pre-op, intra-op, and post-op phases Maintain aseptic technique and ensure patient safety during surgical procedures Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes Adhere to facility policies, standards, and core values of patient care excellence
Schedule/Hours:
Typical shifts involve both days and evenings, with rotating on-call responsibilities based on department needs
