1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an LTAC Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring ACLS, BLS, and Epic proficiency for a night shift contract in Louisiana. Details Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting Patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6 Specialized procedures include TPN administration, wound care, drain management, Foley catheter care, and narcotic administration Epic EMR experience required Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45-07:15) Block scheduling may be considered 13-week contract Requirements Active RN license — Louisiana or Compact license currently in hand Current AHA certifications: BLS and ACLS Epic EMR proficiency required LTAC experience is not required Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Candidates must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed and discussed during the interview process Upon accepting an assignment, travelers may be assigned to an Emergency Team by their unit manager and expected to remain at the facility during or after an emergency event, or serve on a relief team
