Schedule/Hours:
Travel-based assignment Typical shifts aligned with Operating Room needs and caseloads
Essential Qualifications:
Current valid RN license Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as an Operating Room RN BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain before assignment begins) Proficient in pre-op, intra-op, and post-op patient care Strong communication and critical-thinking skills Ability to quickly adapt to new electronic medical record systems
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide safe, skilled nursing care throughout the perioperative process Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the interdisciplinary team Maintain aseptic techniques, monitor patient vitals, and ensure proper documentation Anticipate instrument/supply needs and respond to emergencies efficiently Advocate for patient safety and comfort at all stages of surgery
