• RN Responsibilities As a ShiftMed registered nurse, you'll be responsible for but not limited to: Ongoing patient assessment and observation to ensure optimum health levels.

Administering and recording medications per facility policy and procedures. Transcribing and implementing written, verbal, and electronic physician orders. Delegating appropriate tasks to nurse aides and ensuring proper care delivery. Supervising clinical operations for nursing and clinical care activities. Performing assessment data collection in an ongoing, systemic manner. Reviewing and evaluating data collected by other healthcare professionals. Developing care plans that prescribe nursing actions to achieve patient goals. Identifying patient/family learning needs and implementing appropriate processes. Demonstrating effective written and verbal communication. Collaborating as part of an interdisciplinary team. Ongoing flexibility regarding patient assignments, floating, and related staffing issues. Promoting a positive work environment and demonstrating a positive attitude. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Medical Specialty Experience ED

All advertised rates reflect the wages ShiftMed partner facilities are currently offering. Hourly rates fluctuate throughout the week depending on the facility where you schedule shifts with.
