Licensure•Certification•Travel and other reimbursements when applicable What You'll Do Provide pre-op and Phase I/Phase II PACU recovery care for pediatric and adult surgical patients Support patients for all major surgical services , including populations across multiple OR areas Deliver safe, patient-centered recovery care for regional anesthesia patients and other perioperative cases Maintain appropriate monitoring and post-procedure assessment across high-volume surgical services Support care across a department covering pre/post-op services for procedures performed across many ORs on two floors Collaborate with perioperative teams to ensure smooth transitions and timely recovery milestones Be prepared to float to pediatric PACU as needed What You Need Required

ACLS, BCLS, PALS

Epic experience required Ability to care for patients of all ages in pre-op and Phase I/Phase II recovery Preferred Background in PACU or Pre/Post Op experience Critical Care Post Op experience is preferred Comfort with a patient ratio of 1:2 (2:1 as assigned) About the Assignment This perioperative role supports pre-operative and PACU recovery care for surgical patients across a multi-OR surgical environment, including a pediatric-focused area and broader services spanning endoscopy, interventional radiology, and pulmonary lab. Nurses will care for both pediatric and adult patients in pre-op and Phase I/Phase II recovery, with regional anesthesia patients included.
