$53.60 Competitive Pay Packages Weekly Pay Schedule via Direct Deposit (W-2) Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2) Robust Referral Bonus Program 24/7 Dedicated team committed to your success throughout your time with VHS Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state, federal, and local laws Licensure/Certification and Travel/other reimbursements when applicable What You'll Do Provide pre-op and Phase I/Phase II PACU recovery care for surgical/procedural patients Support patients across major surgical services , including pediatric and adult populations Care for patients for regional anesthesia cases as part of the perioperative recovery process Assist with patient flow across multiple OR and recovery areas (pre/post and Phase 1/Phase 2) Perform patient monitoring and post-procedure nursing care in alignment with unit protocols Float to pediatric PACU as needed Work with an expected patient ratio of 1:2 What You Need Required
ACLS, BCLS, PALS
Epic experience required Preferred Background in PACU or Pre/Post-Op experience Critical Care Post-Op experience preferred About the Assignment This assignment supports perioperative care for a wide range of surgical/procedural patients, including pediatric and adult populations, across pre-op and Phase I/Phase II recovery . The unit supports recovery needs across multiple OR spaces, including high-volume pediatric experiences, with an expected 1:2 patient ratio and the ability to float to pediatric PACU as needed.
