Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN)•Travel Contract•Louisiana Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Louisiana. This opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled Cath Lab nurse with experience in scrubbing, circulating, and hemodynamic monitoring within a high-acuity cardiovascular environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing complex cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures, supporting interventional cardiology teams, and floating between multiple facilities as needed.

Pay Package Pay Rate:

Up to $71.50/hour

Weekly Gross:

Up to $2,860/week

Guaranteed Hours:

40 hours per week Locals Accepted @ $64/hr

ASAP Responsibilities Scrub, circulate, and monitor during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Assist with peripheral vascular interventions and structural heart procedures Administer sedation and vasoactive medications Perform hemodynamic monitoring and patient assessments Support procedures involving Impella, IABP, atherectomy devices, thrombectomy systems, and advanced cardiovascular equipment Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia teams, and multidisciplinary staff Respond to emergent STEMI and critical cardiovascular cases Accurately document patient care and procedural details Patient Population & Procedures Coronary Artery Disease STEMI & Cardiogenic Shock Chronic Total Occlusions (CTO) Peripheral Vascular Disease Valvular Heart Disease Carotid Disease Limb Salvage Procedures TAVR & Structural Heart Procedures MitraClip Procedures Renal & Peripheral Interventions Requirements Active RN License Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience required Previous travel experience required Must be able to scrub, circulate, and monitor BLS Certification ACLS Certification NIHSS Certification Valid Driver's License required Strong experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Required Skills Cardiac Cath Lab Procedures Interventional Cardiology Peripheral Vascular Procedures Hemodynamic Monitoring Sedation Administration Critical Patient Assessment Impella Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) Atherectomy Devices Laser Procedures Lithotripsy Thrombectomy Procedures Airway Management Sterile Technique Technology & Equipment Meditech Expanse EMR Philips Imaging Systems Merge Hemodynamic Monitoring Systems Pyxis Medication Dispensing Alaris Infusion Pumps
