$46.90/hr Competitive Pay Packages Weekly Pay Schedule via Direct Deposit (W-2) Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2) Robust Referral Bonus Program 24/7 Dedicated team committed to your success throughout your time with VHS Paid sick time in accordance with applicable state/federal/local laws Licensure-Certification-Travel and other reimbursements when applicable What You'll Do Provide direct patient care for an evolving Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit Monitor and manage telemetry patients and support care for common diagnoses such as sepsis, CHF, COPD, PNA, COVID, cellulitis, and DVT/PE Support post-op overflow patients as needed (e.g., total joints and certain GI/abdominal surgeries ) Perform and document nursing assessments, medication administration, and care coordination using Meditech Expanse Use and manage required equipment and therapies, including wound care and drain/line support (as applicable) Apply strong clinical skills in areas such as wound management, JP drains/wound vacs, PCA/pain management, and vascular access care Complete required compliance training/testing prior to arrival (including an EKG competency exam ) What You Need Required RN license

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS 2

years of acute care RN experience Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to arrival (required for all Med/Surg RN travelers) Preferred Experience with Med/Surg and telemetry patient populations Familiarity with wound care and specialty devices/therapies (as listed) About the Assignment Join a new Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit (18 beds) at a growing facility. Patient care includes a mix of medical conditions and occasional post-operative overflow, with many learning opportunities for travelers. The unit is supported by in-house resources such as RT and hospitalist coverage for most patients, along with available staff for diagnostics and IV support.
