Job Description

Registered Nurse - Telemetry - Shreveport, LA (up to $48.24/hour) Are you an experienced RN ready to make a difference in a dynamic hospital environment? Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel reimbursements (where applicable) 24/7 dedicated support team throughout your assignment What You'll Do Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms utilizing telemetry equipment Provide high-quality care to post-operative urology patients, including complex surgeries like prostatectomies, nephrectomies, and cystectomies Care for general medical and surgical overflow with diagnoses such as sepsis, CHF, DVT/PE, and respiratory conditions Manage wound care including JP drains, wound vacs, and post-op dressings Administer and monitor pain management protocols, PCA, and cardiac drips Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including hospitalists, RT, therapy, and support staff Document patient care accurately in the EMR system
What You Need Required:
Valid RN license in Louisiana or able to obtain licensure
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
certifications At least 2 years of recent acute care RN experience in a hospital setting Ability to pass an EKG competency assessment prior to start Experience with wound management, telemetry, and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Preferred:
