1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an acute care Med Surg setting, requiring a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years of case management experience. Details Acute care Med Surg unit in a hospital setting Adult and geriatric patient population Caseload ratio of 1:35 Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts (8:00-16:30) No weekend requirements 13-week contract Requirements Active MA RN license required Current BLS certification required Case Management Certification preferred Bachelor's Degree (BSN or related field) required Minimum 3 years of case management experience required Case management experience in an acute care setting required Proficiency in utilization review and denials management required Additional Information Responsibilities include utilization review, denials management, and coordinating care for adult and geriatric patients 40 hours of orientation provided First-time travelers are welcome to apply All time off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
