CVICU Registered Nurse in Centerville, MA

Category Nursing - RN-CVICU Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care (CVICU). This role offers a dynamic working environment where you will utilize your critical care expertise while collaborating with a highly skilled team.

Schedule:

36 hours per week 7:00 pm - 7:30 am shifts Every other weekend Rotating holiday schedule

Key Qualifications:

Valid RN license in good standing In-depth experience working in CVICU settings is required Previous ICU nursing experience strongly preferred Ability to adapt quickly while floating between ICU and CVICU units Strong assessment, communication, and patient care coordination skills BLS and ACLS certifications

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver advanced patient care to individuals with complex cardiovascular conditions in the CVICU Respond swiftly to clinical changes, performing comprehensive assessments and interventions Provide critical support to ICU patients as needed, demonstrating flexibility in floating assignments Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and maintain accurate documentation Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and ongoing care plans
