Registered Nurse Needs Center - 3.0 Beverly, MA Job Details Full-time 1 hour ago Qualifications Mid-level Communication skills Full Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) provides training and assistance to staff and individuals on medical issues and provides quality support services to aid all individuals served in achieving their full potential, while keeping with the agency's mission and philosophy.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct regular audits of program to ensure that all regulations are being followed. Conduct routine and on-going review of health assessments of individuals regarding medical/nursing needs. Ensure compliance with Mass Health, DPH, DDS, CARF, APD, Qlarant and Quest regulations. Conduct MAP Training of staff. Ensure the confidentiality of individuals' medical records by complying with all HIPPA regulations. Treat individuals with respect, advocate for individuals and uphold their human rights. Act as an active training member for direct care and management staff, including on-site staff training, orientation training, health education and staff meetings and ensuring consistent implementation of specific programming. Complete and maintain training programs/certifications as required by NEEDS Center, State, and Federal regulatory agencies Interact effectively and professionally in a manner that encourages participation; is helpful, supportive. and respectful of the differences with regards to the age, gender, culture and the professional standards of the program and company. Provide written and oral information to coworkers, managers, individuals, families/guardians and members of the community on an as needed basis and document and relay any issues brought to their attention. Follow written and oral instructions.
REQUIREMENTS
Massachusetts Nursing License in good standing. Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required. Must be a certified MAP Trainer Experience in working with adults with developmental disabilities in a behavioral setting preferred. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Current CPR, First Aid, and Safety Care certification or ability to obtain the certifications. Computer skills a must. Excellent communication skills.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides training and assistance to staff and individuals on medical issues and provides quality support services to aid all individuals served in achieving their full potential, while keeping with the agency's mission and philosophy. The RN will remain current on all government laws, rules, and regulations, NEEDs Center standards, licensing and accreditation agencies requirements pertaining to the position, and ensure regulatory compliance. #NEEDS123
