Job Description

Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Brighton, MA area for the following position: PACU RN. Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Cardiac Monitoring, Circulate, Pediatric, Presurgical assessment, Robotic surgery, Transplant, or Wound & drain care. Shift(s) available: mid shift Job types available: full time, part time, and per diem Employer features: 403(B), Academic medical center, Community hospital, EAP, FSA, Level 1 trauma center,
Life Insurance, Medical, Retirement Plan Qualifications:
Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team Proficient in electronic medical record systems
Responsibilities:
Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesia Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures
