Night Shift 7:00 PM
  • 7:00 AM 3x12-Hour Shifts 36 Hours per Week Every other weekend required Rotating holidays required Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in a high-acuity acute care hospital setting.
This role focuses on delivering advanced critical care nursing services to medically complex patients requiring intensive monitoring, rapid interventions, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The ideal candidate will possess strong ICU clinical skills, excellent critical thinking abilities, and experience managing critically ill patients in fast-paced healthcare environments. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive ICU patient care using the nursing process Monitor and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions Administer medications and evaluate patient responses Manage ventilated patients and support respiratory care needs Perform and interpret hemodynamic monitoring Assist with intracranial pressure monitoring when required Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams Serve as charge nurse or clinical resource when needed Educate patients and families regarding critical care treatment plans Follow ICU safety protocols, infection prevention standards, and hospital policies Float to Med/Surg Tele units based on operational needs Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Requirements Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Active Massachusetts RN license required Current BLS certification required Current ACLS certification required Completion of pharmacology and arrhythmia exams required Prior ICU or critical care nursing experience required Strong communication and critical thinking skills Ability to work effectively in high-stress critical care settings For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
