Operating Room Schedule:
40 Hours per week, 4-10 hour shifts (Call required) As an Operating Room RN, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional care. Using our patient-centered care model you will be uplifted by a supportive nursing organization and will be able to deliver the excellent care to your patients that they deserve.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver nursing care in the Perioperative Services unit, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, intervening, evaluating, and educating patients Communicate with various health care team members, patients, and their families Coordinate and delegate appropriate patient care activities to inter-professional colleagues Update and manage patient records Enter and interpret computerized data/information Follow guidelines and policies established by BMC-Brighton's nursing organization Assist the leadership team as needed in quality improvement projects
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred), Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Licensed to practice professional nursing as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Certification in basic life support (BLS) CNOR certification (preferred) Advanced Cardiac Life support ( ACLS) certification (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE
2 years' registered Nurse experience required 1 year of operating room experience (2 years preferred) Must be experienced in a circulating role
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Relevant clinical experience and/or specialty, certification required for certain practice areas Effective verbal and written communication skills Physical ability to meet job responsibilities Basic computer proficiency Fluency in another language a plus

Compensation Range:
$39.02- $90.05 This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, and licensure/certifications directly related to position requirements.
