Qualifications:
Active RN license, eligible to practice in Massachusetts Minimum one year of recent Interventional Radiology experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong critical-thinking skills, with the ability to multitask in a high-acuity environment Excellent communication and patient-care abilities Adaptable to new clinical settings and best practice protocols
Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures Monitor patient assessments, administer medications, and ensure a safe procedural environment Collaborate with IR physicians, technologists, and ancillary staff Educate patients and families regarding procedures and post-procedural care Document all interventions and maintain accurate medical records Proactively respond to patient needs and rapid changes in status
