This opportunity involves working on a 24-bed Medical Cardiology Unit, caring for patients requiring advanced monitoring and interventions. Schedule/Hours:
Nights, every other weekend 36 hours per week
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Massachusetts RN license (required) AHA BLS certification (required) Minimum 2 years' recent experience with a strong cardiac background Demonstrated proficiency in Telemetry, Cardiology, and post-cath care procedures, including PCI, ICD, PPM, and Ablation Skilled in interpreting telemetry strips and administering cardiac drips Familiarity with TR Band and Femoral approach
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a diverse adult population with acute and chronic cardiac conditions Accurately interpret telemetry strips and execute cardiac drips Provide post-cath care for PCI, ICD, PPM, ablation, and related procedures Manage RN-to-patient ratios of 1:5 during days and 1:6 during nights Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to best practices in a fast-paced setting
