Working as a travel nurse in Boston allows you to immerse yourself in a thriving metropolitan healthcare environment while enjoying the city's iconic neighborhoods, renowned museums, and waterfront adventures during your downtime. This Operating Room nursing role presents a unique opportunity for professional growth. You'll collaborate with leading clinicians in a dynamic Level 1 trauma center, gaining insight into advanced surgical practices and a range of leadership styles. Expand your resume by mastering the demands of inpatient surgery and trauma care, while broadening your technical skills and healthcare perspective in a fast-paced academic setting.
Schedule & Hours:
AM shifts: 12-hour, 36-hour weeks Day shifts: 7a-7:30p Every other weekend and holiday required
Key Qualifications:
Minimum three years of recent inpatient surgery experience Prior Level 1 trauma experience required Current BLS certification Positive, adaptable attitude with proven flexibility Ability to demonstrate competency in at least five perioperative services Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Support advanced surgical teams in a high-acuity environment Deliver exemplary patient care in accordance with Level 1 trauma standards Maintain strict adherence to safety and infection control protocols Collaborate effectively with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams Participate in ongoing training and continuous improvement initiatives
