Joy of Pediatrics is seeking a highly motivated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our pediatric team. Joy of Pediatrics is an independent, physician-owned pediatric practice providing comprehensive primary care, developmental-behavioral services, and coordinated care in a collaborative, family-centered environment. We are open to hiring one Enthusiastic candidate. The position requires participation in one half-day Saturday clinic per month . Responsibilities Telephone triage Patient rooming and clinical assessments Vaccine administration Medication administration Performing in-house laboratory testing Growth and developmental screenings Patient and family education Care coordination between providers, families, schools, specialists, and community resources Assisting providers with clinical procedures as needed Accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) Qualifications Active Massachusetts RN or LPN license required Current CPR certification EMR experience required; Epic experience preferred Pediatric or family practice experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment Commitment to providing compassionate, family-centered care What We Offer Supportive and collaborative team environment Exceptional learning opportunities in pediatric primary care Opportunity to work closely with experienced pediatric providers Meaningful work caring for children and families in our community
