Concord, MA Pay rate: $55-$60/hr. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care across a variety of clinical settings, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. Your expertise will support diverse patient populations, from acute care to long-term and community-based services. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews using advanced EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks. Administer medications and injections accurately following HIPAA guidelines and aseptic techniques; manage IV infusions and perform venipuncture with precision. Provide specialized care for patients requiring complex procedures such as catheterization, suturing, dialysis, tube feeding, and ventilator management. Assist in diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing, radiologic procedures like sonography or mammography, and infection control protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop discharge plans, case management strategies, and coordinate long-term care or hospice & palliative medicine services. Manage emergency situations including airway management, acute pain management, trauma medicine at Level I or Level II trauma centers, ICU or PICU settings. Educate patients and families on health coaching topics such as geriatrics, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, family planning, nutrition, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities. Ensure compliance with all medical documentation standards including ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for procedures, and accurate medical records maintenance. Maintain infection control standards during sterile processing and ostomy care; utilize aseptic techniques during invasive procedures like spinal taps or gastric lavage. Support patient safety initiatives by monitoring vital signs during triage in urgent care settings or emergency rooms; participate in discharge planning and post-acute care processes.
