Schedule:
Full-time travel position (shifts and hours provided during interview)
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the operating room setting Uphold privacy, dignity, and personalized care for each patient Provide thorough, timely documentation and exceptional communication with team members Safely administer medications and IV therapy according to protocols Support patient and family education, including discharge planning and resources Collaborate on surgical interventions, uphold sterile fields, and execute specimen protocols Maintain compliance with hospital accreditation, safety, and hand hygiene standards Monitor, supervise, and delegate tasks as appropriate to maintain optimal patient outcomes Proactively identify risks and promote quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Active MA RN license O.R. nursing experience; CNOR preferred ACLS required (BLS with commitment to obtain ACLS within 60 days considered) Adaptable, multitasking, effective communicator under pressure
