Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Current MA RN license required O.R. nursing experience; CNOR preferred ACLS upon hire, or active BLS with
AHA ACLS
required within 60 days Strong communication, multitasking skills, and a proactive attitude
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions in the perioperative setting Collaborate with surgery teams to ensure safety and optimal outcomes for patients during procedures Maintain sterile technique and manage surgical instruments and supplies Provide patient and family education while respecting dignity and fostering a healing environment Accurately document interventions, patient responses, and coordinate thorough handoffs to healthcare team members Prioritize patient safety, respond effectively in emergencies, and actively support infection prevention protocols
