00 a year 14 hours ago Qualifications CPR Certification Nursing RN License BLS Certification AED Certification Nursing First aid and CPR Full Job Description South Shore Technical is a Chapter 74 vocational technical public high school serving grades 9-12 from nine surrounding communities. SST seeks to fill up to two (2) Part Time School Nurse positions, beginning with the 26-27 school year starting September 1, 2026.
Scheduled hours:
Position 1: Monday
  • Friday, 7:30 AM
  • 11:00 AMPosition 2: Monday
  • Friday, 10:45 AM
  • 2:15
PMQualifications:
  • Massachusetts Registered Nurse licensure
  • DESE licensure as a School Nurse (preferred) or eligible for a licensure waiver: (Bachelor's degree, Massachusetts Registered Nurse license plus two full years of employment as an RN in a child health, community health, or other relevant clinical nursing setting
  • Current certification in CPR/AED from a recognized provider.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing services to students or staff in need, on a day to day, as needed basis
  • Assessment, triage and treatment of acute illness
  • Administer medications
  • Communicate with parents, faculty/staff and healthcare providers as needed
  • Provide emergency care in cases of injury or sudden illness
  • Arrange transportation when necessary
  • Maintain student Health Records as needed.
  • Perform such other tasks as may be assigned by Building Administrators.
Compensation:
$31,429.50
  • $39,835, based on education and experience; salary prorated for part time status.
