Shift:

Night shift (11:00 PM-7:30 AM) with every other weekend and every other holiday.

Work setting:

Acute Psychiatric Facility (inpatient behavioral health). Travel - Temporary Assignment.

Setting:

Acute psychiatric inpatient facility Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients with psychiatric conditions in an inpatient unit, participating in assessments, medication administration, and care planning under the treatment plan. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and document patient goals and interventions, using a trauma-informed recovery approach. Maintain a safe therapeutic milieu, monitor patient safety, de-escalate crises, and assist with restraints as needed; document care and events in the electronic medical record. Assume charge responsibilities when required and be willing to float to similar or lower acuity units to support staffing needs. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff; uphold professional boundaries and promote recovery-focused care. Ensure compliance with licensing, safety, privacy, and credentialing requirements; maintain CPR certification and participate in crisis intervention activities as appropriate.
