1 Description American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position at a community hospital in Holyoke, MA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and an active MA RN license. Details Work in a high-acuity, fast-paced Emergency Department at a full-service community hospital in Holyoke, MA ED serves patients of all ages from birth through end of life, with a predominantly adult population Includes a locked behavioral health unit with a 12-bed capacity Occasional pediatric patients are seen; a Level 1 pediatric trauma center is nearby 8-week contract with the possibility of extension Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM Candidates interested in 48-hour weeks are preferred at this time Requirements Active MA RN license required (or eligibility for an emergency MA license) Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a large Emergency Department At least 1 prior completed travel assignment is required; first-time travelers with 2 solid years of ED experience may be considered Additional Information CPI training will be provided on site for candidates who need it First-time travelers with strong ED backgrounds are welcome to apply and will be considered on a case-by-case basis 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration All time-off and scheduling requests must be disclosed upfront Located in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts, approximately 90 miles west of Boston
