To Be Determined Job Description The Silver Lake Regional School District and Superintendency Union #31 districts are seeking multiple certified nurses to work in the Extended School Year (ESY) program.

Key Responsibilities:

Review health records for all students. Assess and evaluate students' health while at the ESY program, as needed. Document first aid and illness care provided to staff and students; complete accident reports and maintain a health room activity log. Maintain First Aid supplies and equipment in appropriate locations. Utilize effective techniques to counsel students, parents, and school personnel and plan action for eliminating, minimizing, or accepting health problems. Administer medication as prescribed and approved Nurses will be assigned by the Director of Student Services or designee to sites that best meet the needs of the students and programming ESY Program Overview Students participate in the program from July 7

• 11:30am Staff start time is 8:15am Nurses will also be compensated for non time as follows: 5 hours for Open House and Orientation 5 hours of pre program prep to organize physicals, emergency forms and medications as needed Compensation for this assignment will be $40 per hour.
