Registered Nurse Educator Infosage system Lawrence, MA Job Details Contract $3,719 a week 10 hours ago Qualifications RN License Bachelor of Science BLS Certification Bachelor of Science in Nursing Bachelor's degree in nursing Teaching Full Job Description CA01 The Professional Development Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing, facilitating, and evaluating educational programs for nursing and clinical staff. This role supports staff development, continuing education, orientation programs, competency validation, and simulation-based learning initiatives across the organization. Schedule Monday-Friday Business hours (flexible start/end times) No weekends or nights Non-exempt position Key Responsibilities Develop, coordinate, and evaluate educational programs that offer continuing education credits. Participate in planning and delivering the clinical components of new employee orientation. Collaborate with local nursing schools regarding student clinical and practicum placements. Work with clinical nurse educators to establish and assess staff competencies. Coordinate and manage the Simulation Lab, including: Creating and facilitating simulation scenarios Conducting debriefing sessions Maintaining simulation equipment and supplies Scheduling multidisciplinary staff training Collecting and analyzing educational outcome data Support professional development initiatives and staff education programs throughout the hospital. Requirements Active Massachusetts RN License BLS Certification Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred Minimum 5 years of RN experience Preferred Qualifications Experience in staff development, nursing education, or professional development Experience with competency validation and clinical education Specialty certifications (preferred but not required) Simulation lab experience (preferred) Strong presentation, teaching, and communication skills Orientation Dates June 23 July 14 July 28
