Position Summary:

The extra duty nurse will work closely with the Enrollment Department ensuring that applicants are welcomed and have necessary medical documentation to start school and other duties as outlined by the enrollment manager. The nurse's responsibilities must be satisfactorily completed outside of his or her contracted workday.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to navigate Google forms, Microsoft Word, and Excel
• Knowledge of LPS Enrollment Process
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) and able to write proficiently in English
• Experience with PowerSchool SIS and LINQ
• Have an understanding of LPS and state medical policies regarding school enrollment
• Ability to function as part of a team
• Organizational skills and attention to detail are a must
• Cultural competence and experience working with families in an urban environment are both expected
