Jul 6, 2026 Job Description Minuteman is seeking a nurse during our summer programs.
Major Responsibilities:
Provide basic healthcare services and first aid to students and staff. Assess and respond to student illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. Administer prescribed medications according to physician orders and school policies. Maintain accurate health records, medication logs, and incident documentation. Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student health concerns or emergencies.
Qualifications:
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts. Current CPR and First Aid certification. Previous nursing experience in pediatrics, adolescent health, school nursing, emergency care, or public health preferred.
Additional Requirements:
This position includes but is not limited to: interacting with the public, walking around the school, standing for periods, occasionally lifting and carrying items, reading documents, using a computer, listening and speaking, using office equipment, maintaining energy throughout the day, and handling stress effectively.
Terms of Employment:
Part-Time from July 6, 2026•July 24,2026. Hours will vary based on District and student needs. Typical workday is from 7:45am•2:45pm.
