Job Description

Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in a preschooler's daily routine as a dedicated professional providing one-on-one nursing care. This full-time, contract opportunity offers 35 hours per week and a chance to support a young student each day from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. In this highly rewarding role, you'll accompany a female preschool student to and from school by bus and provide specialized nursing assistance throughout the school day. Your expertise and compassionate care will help create a safe and supportive environment for her educational journey.
Qualifications & Experience:
Active RN license required, with experience in school settings or pediatric care strongly preferred Proficiency in trach care, airway management, and tracheal suctioning Skilled in the administration and monitoring of oxygen therapy Experience with enteral feeding tubes, including feedings and administering medication Ability to work closely with students, families, and school personnel as part of a collaborative team Strong communication, documentation, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide continuous, individualized care during bus rides and school hours Deliver all prescribed treatments, including tracheal suctioning, airway management, and oxygen therapy Safely perform enteral feedings and medication administration via feeding tube Monitor the student's health status, responding promptly to changes or emergencies Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all care and interventions Foster a positive, nurturing relationship with the student to support her well-being and academic success Step into a role that blends expert medical care with meaningful daily connection.
