Job Description

Primary Care Nurse -
OBGYN Summary:
The Primary Care Nurse specializing in OB/GYN plays a critical role in delivering comprehensive healthcare services to women across various stages of their reproductive lives. This position focuses on providing high-quality, patient-centered care including prenatal, postnatal, and gynecological support, ensuring the well-being of both mother and child. The nurse will collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Emphasis is placed on health education, preventive care, and early detection of potential complications to promote optimal health outcomes. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to improving women's health by offering compassionate, evidence-based nursing care in a supportive clinical environment.
Qualifications:
Graduate of accredited nursing program Current Mass. Licensure BLS certification History of good attendance and positive work attitude
Experience:
Previous Community Health or Ambulatory Experience preferred Experience with diverse populations a plus.
Special Requirements:
Preferred bi-lingual in Spanish, Khmer, Arabic, or Russian.

Respects and maintains patient confidentiality in all aspects of care including use of electronic information. Treats all patients in a welcoming and professional manner. Demonstrates professionalism by appropriate attire, attendance, attitude, and behavior within the clinical setting. Contributes to the team effort by supporting all team members and maintaining an open and positive attitude. Welcomes new employees and students to the team by assisting with their orientation to the team and mentoring them, as requested.
